I joined in the conversation club last Tuesday. To my surprised, there were only 6 people in this club,which are all my classmates. But anyway,I enjoyed this conversation club.
In this conversation club we talked about the British royal family and prince Harry's racist to Pakistan. There is no royal family in my country now,but I have interests in the British royal family. I know little about this family,what I hear a lot is the news of two princes. In few days ago, all the medias talked about Harry's racist comment referring to his army companion as " our little Paki friend". Is Prince Harry racist? What's your opinion of this news? The British prime minister, Gordon Brown, has said that he will be forgiven by the public for he has made an sincerely apology.In my opinion, I will forgive him as well. I think he is just joking for he is a young boy. He is not mean to discriminate the Pakistanis. Why all the world focus on his careless joke? Just because Harry is living in a British royal family. All our classmates make an agreement to this news. We all argue that Harry should be forgiven.
Later in the class, Sanaz ,Ngoc and I talked about the culture of the cost when a boy invites a girl to have a date in our country. It is more interesting to talk this topic than Harry. Iran's and Vietnam's boy will pay all the bills in the date with a girl,which is totally different from my country. We will pay in A-A(pay for self), the boy have to pay whatever the girl want to buy.T hat is interesting. I admire the Iran's and Vietnam's girls! Haha!
