Actually I have finished my essay. In the process of writing, I found my essay a little boring in the last part,so I change my idea of the last part.It is only a little different from my previous idea, but I think it make the whole essay more academic.
Introduction
Globalization has been broadly mentioned in different areas such as economy, politics, culture, environment, etc. It appears that it has transferred the world into a "global village". It is proved that globalization has a significant impact on the economy which enhances the wealth from finance, trade, as well as investment. Furthermore, global ideas and information's spreading through the world promote global understanding and tolerance, stimulating the world to enter into a "global culture" (Aharoni, 2008). Tourism has become one of the largest and fastest growing economic sectors in the world. Due to its continued growth and diversification, the modern tourism has been turned into a "key driver" for socioeconomic progress in globalization (UNWTO, 2008). It would appear that globalization has opened its arms to hold tourism with a deep kiss. The effects of globalization are far from being clear. Can we summarise the main effects of it? How does the globalization "kiss" tourism in today's world? What should tourism do in the age of globalisation? This essay is based on findings from recent research into tourism globalization. The arguments I shall put forward are relevant to the positive effects on tourism economy. I will start by explaining the main effects of globalization in economy, technology, culture and environment, then go on to discuss in which ways do these positive effects of globalization benefit tourism economy. Further arguments are how the tourism could catch the forward pace in the age of globalisation.
Argument
In this part I will start by explaining the main effects of globalisation. I would like to argue the economic effect in finance, investment,as well as trade. Then I would like to discuss the technology effect. Furthermore ,I will put forward to discuss the cultural effect in communication, idea, and information.Last, I will argue the disadvantage effect on environment and poverty.
Counter argument
In this part I will talk about the positive effects of globalisation on the tourism economy.I would like to discuss the general positive effects on the tourism economy. In order to discuss more tourism economic benefits from globalisation, we can put forward to explain the ways in which effects of globalisation benefit the tourism economy.
Conclusion
In the conclusion,I prefer to discuss what should the tourism do in the age of globalisation.
